"Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
As you fall all around"
"Do you know how they tortured Loki, in the days before Ragnarok? The Gods chained him to a rock and hung a snake above him, to constantly drip acid into his face." A light laugh, he considered their current position, a smile curled his lips. "The acid on the snake's fangs was the most potent in the known universe, and, after every five hundred drops; a hole would have been burned right through Loki's skull. This punishment lasted all the way 'til the end of the world. It's a shame you aren't as immortal as him, neh?"

Passing Afternoon
A melancholy smile lit his face, gentle and slow, he approached the body of a long dead rose. A white lily slipped from careless fingers, as it hit the ground the petals exploded into a shower of raindrops. "Do you believe? In the hymns your mother used to sing?" A gentle laugh. A warm breeze passed through the room, lifting his hair slightly revealing a tortured grace with quiet life filling cerulean pools. A cold hand reached out, unheeded, unloved. A blood red queen followed as he turned away, watching with imperial superstition as he crawled along a blade. He knew where he was needed, where the world wished him. A place of darkness, bath
What if I wanted to break?
A slight, manic giggle slipped past unguarded lips. "Thank you, really. Thanks." A small pause, a slight gasp of terror. "Thank you for pushing me this far. If you didn't I don't think I'd have been brave enough to take the final step." Footsteps, restlessly pacing, muffled by the thick carpet. "I wish you'd done it sooner, though. I do so like the way I am now." A slight, muffled whimper, shuffling feet, desperate to escape.
Laugh it all off in your face
"An escape attempt?" Another insane laugh. "So silly, little England. You should know that you can't escape me." He ceased his pacing momentarily, instead walki

Pleurs Enfant Bay
Where were you... when everything was falling apart.
"You left me. You simply left. You dropped my hand and walked away, you abandoned me. That hurt. Do you have any idea how much that hurt?" A slight snarl, dark indigo eyes glared balefully into the middle distance. "You just let go. Oh, you promised to come back, you said you'd fight for me, you decreed you'd never let me stay with that hateful man. But you did." A deep throated growl, pacing, relentless and yet muffled. "I waited. So long I waited. It was on this beach, you remember? On this very beach, you walked away. And I waited. I stood here and I waited. Years, years I waited for yo
And all the time they took, talking in circles
A small sneer curled his lips. He sat, watching them, arguing over nothing. 'Fools.' The thought came unbidden into his mind, cold and venomous, like poison between his ears. True though he may have considered it, he disliked that he had to keep the thought in his mind, the one place he would least liked to have had it. It was truly irksome that he could not express his thoughts, not even in private, for fear that they may be overheard, he could not afford to lose his nice boy image just yet. 'Such irritating chatter, why do they not stop and actually try to listen to one another?' He sighed som

The Sharpest Lives
This alone, you're in time for the show
A slight sigh, a rustle of cloth shifting with movement. A hmm, as if considering something. Then the small sound of a shaking head. "That will never do, that will never do." The grating sound of a heavy metal object being dragged across the floor, a small cry of exertion following. Muffled groaning, as if through a gag, reverberated through the room. "Do stop moaning, my dear." Came the gentle chide. Another small sigh, another shake of the head. "Much better. Now you'll have a most wonderful view." A small, demented laugh followed, chilling and cruel, it cut through the air like a shard of crystal. "
You say "I love you" boy
It was dark in the room. A small shaft of moonlight allowed him to see his breath, clouding before his face. "What..." He wondered, "What... happened?" He didn't understand, they had been friends, hadn't they? He had even hoped for more. But that was impossible now.
What happened? What had made the boy he loved change so? His head was filled with questions, such confusion clouded his mind. A slight sigh slipped from unguarded lips. A small shake of his head, trying to shake the thoughts from his mind, it would do no good dwelling on it now. When all's said and done, he had been condemned, no one was going to rescue
